SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - CLIENT SERVICES Orchestro
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for supporting and maintaining customer database implementations of the Orchestro software portfolio for large consumer product goods companies. The role will be responsible for supporting both Orchestro Customers as well as Orchestro staff on a diverse set of client engagements.
Developing T-SQL/PL-SQL including procedures, views, functions, indexes, etc.
Responsible for tuning and optimizing several customer systems running various RDBMS
Suggest and implement security models that meet both customer and Orchestro standards
Solve complex database problems with both SQL and Server-side troubleshooting
Understand technical components of a deployment and communicate requirements and risks to both business and technical client audiences
Minimum of three years RDBMS experience including deep knowledge of architecture, implementation and support with at least one major DBMS.
Experience with performance tuning/optimizing
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to articulate and collaborate with customers and team members in carrying out work functions.
Working knowledge of MS Server 2003, 2008+
Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
Function well in a fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for delivering results is set high
MicroStrategy or other BI platform experience
Experience with ETL Process
Experience with Columnar databases
SSIS, Reporting Services, Analysis Services (MDX queries)
Certification, part or complete MCDBA track
