Senior Database Developer Clinicient
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Database developer will play a significant role in the technical development and maintenance of the operational and data warehouse systems. The DB developer is responsible for working with the product operation, software development team, product management to share in responsibilities for database development, database standards, and meeting product service levels. Their purpose is to create a high level of customer satisfaction by assuring the quality, stability, and performance of the Clinicient software product infrastructure and offerings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with various groups to understand requirements for data capture and processing.
Determine best solutions to meet corporate data management needs, including batch data exports and other data services.
Support processes to transform client data into standard, reliable structures that are scalable and high performance.
Design, propose, document, build and maintain data loading and transformation processes.
Build and maintain database packages, processes and data structures.
Support enterprise-wide data initiatives. Grasp the strategic significance of activities performed and is motivated by accomplishing these objectives.
Strong motivation to create customer satisfaction through the delivery of high quality end-user applications and by solving real problems for real users
Self-starter able to work with little supervision
Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to diagnose and solve problems creatively
Ability to communicate clearly to varied audiences in writing, by phone, and in person
Must work well in fast-paced, constantly changing environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
Minimum 4-7 yrs progressive experience working with Microsoft SQL server 2008 or better, including SQL Svr and SSIS.
Experience developing and working understanding of software as a service and data warehousing.
Working knowledge in relational and dimensional database modeling and development.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Extensive experience with data interchange and data integration.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Healthcare industry experience desirable.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The position will interface primarily with internal staff and will have a high level of impact on customer satisfaction based on customers? experience with Clinicient?s product, the release process, and customer service levels. The nature of the position entails frequent new and varied work situations with a high degree of complexity. There are established some established procedures, but the individual will expected operate with little direct supervision.
This position is performed primarily in an office environment. Significant portions of the job require extended sedentary periods, constant work with computers (including extended period of keyboarding), and repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
