RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, code, and maintain data transformations (ETL) from company?s transactional database into a dimensional Data Warehouse. Responsible for performance monitoring and tuning of large tables with more than 2 billion rows. Design, develop, and test SQL code, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) transformations and reports using Microsoft SQL Server reporting services (SSRS) for MarketSuite. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance problems in test, pre-production, and production environments. Participate in software development life cycle (SDLC) and communicate with business analysts, market operators, peers and testers. Provide production support, investigate and propose workarounds, and resolve problems in the production environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
5 years of experience as a Senior Database Engineer, Database Engineer or related position.
Experience with performance monitoring and tuning of large tables with more than 1 billion rows.
Experience with coding ETL in a dimensional Data Warehouse environment.
SQL Server experience including SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
