Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design and Implement enhancements, and maintenance of existing products
Lead the effort to migrate our business logic from PL/SQL to Oracle.
Explore product requirements to understand technical difficulties, recommend implementation approaches, and design solutions.
Participate in both functional/technical group discussions in a heavily team-oriented environment.

Required Experience
PL/SQL
4-8 years of experience in the design and implementation of database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
Deep knowledge of PL/SQL features ? packages, triggers, collections, user-defined types, refcursors
Experience with SQL Developer or similar PL/SQL development tools
Database Performance Tuning
Ability to understand and improve the performance of database applications.
Knowledge of Oracle?s cost-based optimizer, query plans, data access paths, hints, explain plan, tkprof, indexing
Advanced level SQL ? joins, functions, analytic queries
Java
Familiarity with basic java programming. Must be interested in developing expertise in Java programming.
JDBC, Hibernate
debugging with the Eclipse IDE
data structures,
coding standards
polymorphism
Other
Experience with test tools ? UTPLSQL, Junit, TestNG
Strong computer science fundamentals.
