As the ideal candidate for this position, you can identify B2B customer needs and translate them into innovative simple solutions. You are fluent in best practices for Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Usability, and Data Analytics with practical knowledge of User Centered Design processes and lifecycles. You are at ease both visualizing an experience in the abstract and driving that vision into solid design deliverables such as user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes. You have the ability to provide and effectively communicate strategic and tactical recommendations. You think first from the customer?s perspective and set high standards for yourself and your team to develop best-in-class experiences.
Inspire, manage, mentor and grow the Lithium Social Web UXD team.
Lead design initiatives in Lithium?s fast-paced environment while assessing and optimizing the performance of new and existing features.
Ensure that all User Experience activities are executed at high quality levels, manage team initiatives, set priorities, and manage scoping.
Responsibly and effectively advocate for customers and impart day-to-day strategic user experience leadership.
Ability to jump in hands-on and lead initiatives as individual contributor rationalizing your design decisions from concept to pixels perfection.
Serve as a UX evangelist with PM, ENG, Marketing, Sales, and the go-to-market organizations to help them understand the vision, roadmap and best practices
Travel 5-10% to customers and prospects
Fluent in best practices for Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Usability, and Data Analytics with practical knowledge of User Centered Design processes and lifecycles.
Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
Expert in Adobe Creative suite and typical creative software
Experience with Enterprise Software, Data Visualization and Mobile a big plus
7+ years of experience in UX Design and UX Management
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience (Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design or similar degrees preferred)
