Job DescriptionAunt Bertha is building a software platform that makes it easy for people to find and apply for social services. We are a startup in Austin, TX and we are looking for someone interested in being an integral part of a committed group of people attacking a very big problem.
The senior developer will be:
--collaborating on software requirements;
--designing front-end interactions;
--performing unit tests (and integration tests as needed); and
--writing code (jQuery, Python).
Desired Skills & Experience
We're looking for an experienced programmer (1-4 years) for a contract to hire position. Location is in Austin, TX (required). Desired skills, in order of importance.
--Want to work for a startup;
--Strong Javascript / jQuery;
--Strong design aesthetic;
--Strong object-oriented design methodology;
--Working knowledge of Python; and
--Working knowledge of Google App Engine.
