Sr. Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for software requirements, software architecture and algorithms for Gogo in-flight entertainment and in-flight communication products and services.
? Responsible for understand software behavior, and may need to navigate source code to debug lab & field issues and suggest fixes or product improvements.
? Will support all development, integration and verification and validation activities for projects and products by working with internal developers and 3rd party development teams.
? Work with development team to troubleshoot lab and field issues and track that fixes are provided.
? Interface with operations team on software release deployment plan.
? Interface with operations team to debug and root cause issues seen in the field, and if necessary reproduce issues in lab.
Qualifications:
? Linux/Unix development experience
? Experience with IP networking & routing protocols with an understanding of 802.11 a/b/g/n
? Experience writing software requirements, software architecture and designing algorithms.
? Satellite/avionics/flight systems experience and familiarity with FAA, RTCA & ARINC standards and regulations a plus.
? Must have strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Project management and/or project lead experience a plus.
? Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
