We are currently seeking a Senior Director, Americas Sales Operations
Job Summary:
This person is responsible for driving sales productivity, sales forecasting, developing a deal discount process, incentive compensation initiatives, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the VP, Global Sales Operations leader and the respective Senior Sales Leadership team. This position requires a candidate with a strong financial and operational background. 30% Travel is expected.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
?Partner with Senior Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas across all business units
?Manage and report on revenue / bookings / GM / sales forecasts using best practice methodology and sales force automation applications and sales forecasting tools
?Drive standards of performance and specific actions that drive sales growth that is consistent with predefined success criteria for the sales organization; track and report on these activities on a scheduled and ad hoc basis
?Generate the Americas global consolidated sales forecast and metric reports & provide strategic analysis to all Senior Sales Management
?Proactively diagnose the analytic requirements for the sales organizations of the Americas; design and deliver best in class processes, metrics, and resource allocation for continued growth
?Develop comprehensive pipeline reporting tools and dashboards via Salesforce.com tools
?Assist in the structuring and approval process of all commercial sales engagements throughout the Americas
?Setup, maintain, and modify sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions, compensation, and commissions
?Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of quota-setting, headcount and strategic business planning
?Work with the Sales Ops SFDC team to define business requirements and support the sales organization
Qualifications for this role are:
?6-8 years experience in Sales Operations, and Business Operations, managing in excess of $200M in sales revenue in a HW business model
?Superior analytical and communication skills
?Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills a must
?Experience using Salesforce.com, and Oracle 11i
?Storage HW experience a plus
?Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA a plus
