The position is a revenue generating position whose responsibility is to land new accounts as well as grow the existing ones. This position will be responsible for all direct revenue opportunity within their territory (typically a handful of states). There will be both inside sales support and technical resources to assist this position.
Desired Skills & Experience:
8+ years of sales experience selling Marketing Information Services, Predictive Analytics and/or subscription technology at an enterprise deal level
Able to carry and deliver against a $1.2 Million - $1.8 Million quota / approximately 6-12 deals
Significant (30%+) air travel required to meet with clients and attend industry functions across a broad geography
Experience managing 3 - 9 month sales cycles
Experience with working with agencies (particularly as it relates to the analytics and media planning functions) extremely helpful, but not necessary.
Strong presentation skills and experience with giving presentations on their own
Has deep vertical expertise other than CPG
Used to or expecting to make 300K per year and has the work ethic to achieve
Experience with self-created lead generation (cold calling, networking, trade show attendance and building an effective pipeline)
Experience responding to RFPs for complex proposals with minimal assistance
Good team player who can enroll appropriate internal and external cross functional constituents as needed during the sales process
Heavy negotiation, contract formulation and contract management abilities required
Experience in a start-up environment; independent worked who is adaptable and flexible
Fast learner
At least one assignment in new product or new category launch experience
At least one assignment in enterprise account management
Comfortable initiating and leading C-Level client relationships
