Senior Director, Business Development ExtraHop Networks

The Senior Director of Business Development will manage ExtraHop?s BD efforts with an eye toward accelerating the company?s growth in existing markets and to develop new market opportunities via our technology partnerships. You will have primary responsibility for driving revenue-generating activities with current partners as well as expanding ExtraHop?s partner ecosystem leveraging ExtraHop product functionality and customer-driven use cases. The opportunity is for an experienced business development and sales professional who is great at structuring relationships that generate significant direct and indirect revenue. We're looking for someone that has experience with direct sales (hunter/quota carrier), relationship builder (consultative), and account management (superior follow-through).
Duties and Responsibilities
Sell ExtraHop into our strategic partner accounts by identifying new joint use cases across the enterprise and service provider markets
Structure and negotiate various partnership agreements including but not limited to OEM & ISV
Assist in the development of joint positioning and go-to-market plans
Drive meaningful (revenue influencing / generating) go-to-market activities with partners
Identify and develop new market segments and new applications that drive ExtraHop
Drive joint sales opportunities with ExtraHop and partner sales and channel teams
Required Qualifications and Experience
7-10 years of business development and / or strategic account sales experience within the software enterprise space
3+ recent years managing strategic relationships with ISVs (IBM, Splunk, Cisco, Citrix, and Microsoft)
3-5 years experience with direct sales (hunter/carried and exceeded quota) to large enterprises
Experience selling software products, appliances and services to large enterprises
Someone who can both define strategy and drive execution of new business initiatives
A strong, verifiable track record of managing complex, revenue generating relationships
Proven relationships with relevant technology companies
Experience defining, implementing and managing go-to-market activities
Technical understanding of various IT architectures, data center operations and cloud services
Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams
This position is not eligible for relocation
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
BA/BS required
