In order to reach our goals, we?re looking to hire a Senior Director of User Acquisition to join our team in Washington, DC. This role will be responsible for overseeing our team of analysts, expanding our operations, and developing and implementing our future growth strategies. Our ideal candidate is someone who has deep experience in each of these channels & is aggressive, motivated and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment. LivingSocial is one of the world?s largest online ad spenders, and operates in more than 20 countries worldwide. This role will be primarily US focused but you will work with our international teams to scale successful tactics globally.
Digital Marketing and User Acquisition Strategy - Create and drive overall user acquisition strategy, including marketing programs, campaigns and launches, to drive engagment, create loyal regulars and generate marketplace awareness for LivingSocial.
External Partnerships ? define the optimal product and partner match to maximize user acquisition. Negotiate terms and pricing with publishers.
Lead and build a team focused on growing SEM through both operational optimizations as well as creating new revenue opportunities and channels to drive conversions and direct sales.
Partner with colleagues on the engineering and customer acquisition teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve or augment existing tools, functions.
Work with colleagues domestically & internationally to roll out successful tactics.
Define and track project success metrics for marketing programs and campaigns
Oversee, manage, hire, train, evaluate, counsel, and develop a team.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in user acquisition and marketing
Ability to cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal business partners
Personality that is goal-focused, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
Strong project management and coordination skills
Ability to drive progress, strategically and creatively think in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and writing skills and great attention to detail
Experience managing teams
Bachelors degree required
