Senior Director, Finance DriveCam
Reporting to the CFO and managing two FP&A managers, the primary responsibility of the Finance Leader is to develop the financial management strategy and support the CFO and the rest of the executive team in the financial management of this rapidly growing company. Specifically, this means the development and implementation of key financial processes such as the annual budget, the monthly forecasts, the strategic plan, and the analysis and reporting of monthly operating results. Under the direction of the CFO, the Finance Leader will also provide analytical support to cross-functional teams to help drive the company?s operating performance and financial returns. The Finance Leader will also drive change management through process, systems, and reporting improvements to provide more transparency and visibility into current and future financial results. The Finance Leader is a full business partner to the executive team, with a particular focus in the areas of return on investment of capital and operating spends. In addition to the strategic components, the Finance Leader will be charged with developing and implementing more sophisticated finance policies and procedures and leveraging systems to deploy automated solutions. Essential Responsibilities and Capabilities Include:
Strategy, Vision and Leadership
Advise the CFO and other key members of senior management on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at select board of directors and committee meetings.
Contribute to the development of Lytx?s strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the CFO informed of all critical issues.
Maintain key internal relationships (ELT) and represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly with bankers.
Work closely with CFO and SVP, Corporate Communications on external messaging including appropriate financial data to present
Lead high profile special projects
Proactively determine solutions to complex business issues facing the company
Possess excellent management, leadership skills, analytical skills, problem solving strong attention to detail and exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
Lead all finance initiative, including planning, forecasting, due diligence, financing
Business partner with ELT and other key Lytx personnel to perform financial analysis and to determine solutions to business issues
Work closely with CAO and other CFO reports to assure accurate and timely information is being produced
Develop profitability, balance sheet and key drivers activity forecast for business leaders
Develop and maintain a capital plan that projects cash flow and determines future capital/funding needs
Identify and monitor key operating metrics, business risks and opportunities associated with the plan
Upgrade financial planning processes and systems to enhance management decision-making
Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the finance team.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.

Ability to design and develop sophisticated models for applicable area of responsibility, with strong excel modeling skills and demonstrated proficiency in developing models incorporating sensitivity and risk analysis
Business acumen to craft analyses which realistically model the business dynamics
Strong analytical skills; Ability to identify and interpret financial information, articulate problems, propose alternative solutions, have factual backup for decisions and comfortable questioning prior decisions if the results do not materialize as previously projected; Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable strategic recommendations
Attention to detail and an overarching dedication to ?get the right answers? to large and small questions through data analysis and attentiveness to communicating at the appropriate level to convey conclusions to operational teams, executives, investors a must

10+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis and corporate finance management experience in high growth companies
5+ years of people leadership experience
Financial business management experience
MBA or equivalent experience
