Job Purpose
This is a permanent position to join a highly dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise.
As a key member of the marketing team for Cardlytics, the Sr. Director, Marketing is responsible for creating all brand and product marketing associated with this brand-new analytics and marketing platform. This is a true green-field role, and an opportunity to help build a brand from the ground up.
Job Responsibilities
Product & Corporate Marketing
Support the creation a compelling, actionable messaging and positioning for the company and advertiser products. Support acquiring and maximizing the customer spend among the top 200 consumer-facing businesses in the U.S. Includes managing external resources (agencies) as well as working within Cardlytics
Raise the awareness of the Cardlytics brand and products, through creation of superior marketing support materials and collateral ? sales presentations, website, sales fact sheets, product marketing materials, tradeshows and conferences, PR.
Position Cardlytics & Cardlytics executives as thought leaders within the industry, and as uniquely positioned to understand the development of the industry and techniques. Arrange for speaking opportunities, white papers, research participation networking events, academic and other publications to support the Cardlytics messaging and value proposition.
Support the development of data/metrics from within Cardlytics to be shared publicly, supporting the messaging, value proposition and thought leadership goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education Required
Bachelor?s degree in marketing, business or a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Master?s degree preferred.
Experience Required
Excellent knowledge and background in the definition, design, and execution of marketing, PR, customer relationship management programs
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Skills and Knowledge Required
Demonstrated leadership and management skills coupled with strong business acumen.
Proven ability to understand marketing concepts and to be able to make good judgment when faced with trade-offs.
