Outbrain, the leading content discovery solution, is seeking a seasoned marketer to lead our long tail self serve business line. For this role, we are looking for a highly experienced direct marketer who has hands on knowledge of key direct response tactics and a strong analytical background.
This role will lead the self serve team, handling all aspects of marketing strategies, customer acquisition, funnel optimization, retention and product roadmap. This person will be a key decision maker in Outbrain?s strategy and play an important role in the company?s growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytic and marketing background with experience in B2B marketing, CRM and marketing automation strategies, media buying, content marketing, data analysis and funnel optimization. Experience in mass SOHO/SMB online acquisition is a big advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop strategies to identify key customer targets
Generate profitable customer acquisition channels, including but not limited to search marketing, email marketing, display advertising, affiliate marketing and channel partnerships
Develop and execute an effective CRM strategy from the ground up
Identify and negotiate partnership and co-marketing opportunities
Work cross-functionally to develop a plan to forecast, test and measure customer acquisition, key performance metrics and lifetime value of a customer, and effectively report success metrics to management team
Leverage data and analytics to develop new acquisition strategies to generate quality leads based on customer engagement and lifetime value
Qualifications
Highly strategic, quantitative and analytical marketer
Strong track record of developing and driving ROI-based acquisition programs online
Experience creating customer acquisition and LTV models
Deep understanding of CRM and marketing automation strategies
Search and display marketing experience
Highly proficient in Google Analytics
Understanding of product development and optimization
Detail-oriented
Leadership skills
