About the Job
As the Senior Director of Professional Services, you will manage all services sales activity and field deployments within Nexant?s global accounts. In addition to hiring and managing a high performance Professional Services team, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding PS revenue quotas while keeping your team utilized within the standards set by Nexant.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet/exceed % team quota attainment
Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of services executives and post-sales solutions architects
Provide management level support for pre-sales of large services engagements
Work with sales management and CTO to align and implement service selling strategy
Maintain an understanding of all Nexant DSM product lines and software service solutions
Strategically drive new software services business to targeted global accounts
Work with services partners and Nexant?s sales team to maintain a productive and loyal partner community.
BS, BA or MS degree or equivalent technical training or industry experience is desirable
Demonstrated skills in technical team management
Entrepreneurial and ability to scale and effectively deliver solutions to large enterprise customers
Background (10+ years ? 15 years) in customer-facing positions such as technical sales, pre-sales, or professional services consulting, preferably with a software product company Experience and exposure selling to and negotiating contracts within the utility and energy sectors
5+ years management experience of technical staff of 10-15 + people
Experience in working with channel services partners
Knowledge and emphasis on software and hardware architecture, and infrastructure design and development
Experience in rapidly building teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
