We are looking for a high-energy individual with a ?can-do? attitude who thrives on building processes and driving change. The Senior Director of SEC Reporting will be responsible for all aspects of the Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and will also assist in the implementation, maintenance and review of internal controls and corporate policies and procedures for SOX compliance within reporting.
Oversees SEC filings including annual and quarterly reports, forms, and correspondence by ensuring accuracy of data presented. Prepares annual and quarterly financial statements and schedules included in the earnings release. Oversees accounting research and compliance issues relating to filings. Prepares financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed for pro forma statements and budgets. Ensures financial statements comply with GAAP and SEC requirements and prepares and maintains all supporting documentation for financial statements and related footnotes.
Oversees and prepares SEC filings including annual and quarterly reports, forms, and correspondence to ensure accuracy of data presented.
Oversees and prepares internal reporting to Executives, department managers, BOD and investor presentations
Oversees accounting research and compliance issues related to filings and technical accounting issues, including preparation of company position papers and memos
Prepares financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed for pro forma statements and budgets
Ensures financial statements comply with GAAP, SEC, stock exchange and eventual IFRS rules and requirements and prepares and maintains all supporting documentation for financial statements, filings and related footnotes
Preparation, accurate reporting and filing of SEC periodic reports such as S-1, Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K and Annual Report.
Develops and manages SEC filings related to XBRL reporting
Develops and manages overall internal and external reporting process, including building and training a team
Coordinates, directs, plans and executes the financial reporting component of the external audit.
Assists the initial implementation and ongoing SOX compliance requirements for internal and external reporting
Leads all financial research efforts. Analyzes researches and concludes on new and proposed accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the SEC, FASB and eventual IFRS and prepare memorandums regarding the Company?s position and impact on the Company.
Designs, implements and ensures effective and practical implementation of corporate policies.
Liaison with finance department, internal legal counsel and external independent auditors.
Assist in preparing quarterly earnings release.
Extensive knowledge of SEC Reporting, US GAAP and internal control processes
Strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization.
Experience in top-tier public accounting firm preferred and Software industry accounting experience required
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Operational S-1, SEC filing experience required
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required
CPA, active license status required
Experience: 12 years? experience in similar roles of increasing responsibility
