Senior Director of Solution Architecture Narus
As the Senior Director of Solution Architecture you will provide technical leadership and solution authority over a variety of IP traffic intelligence solutions based on the Narus Platform. You will apply your broad range of skills and experience to capture customer requirements and use cases, develop high impact integrated product solutions and drive the solution deployment to customer acceptance.Your extensive knowledge and hands on experience in Big Data Databases, SOA, IP networking and protocols, telecommunications, large software applications, Linux systems, and network troubleshooting, combined with outstanding verbal, written and presentations skills will allow you to excel in this challenging but rewarding multifaceted position.
You will interact directly with customers and internally work with product managers, project managers, development engineers and others.
Responsibilities:
Lead 5-7 Engineers to deliver and commercialize IP to the market place
Capture product management solution requirements, use cases and workflow scenarios and deliver full scalable solution to address the cyber security analytics market requirements
Develop technical solution designs including, solution components, features, functions, sizing, performance and restrictions.
Deliver technical architecture presentations and technical solutions according to customer requirements and product specifications
Perform hands on design work to prove NARUS product capabilities to customers during the evaluation (Proof of Concept) process
Create solution specific acceptance test plans and best practices documents
Provide knowledge transfer and consulting to customers to ensure proper operation usage and efficiency
Own the technical solution from conception through deployment
Technical Skill Requirements:
In the context of Big Data and Big Data Analytics you have:
Hands on experience in enterprise database products (Teradata, Oracle, Postgress, Cassandra, etc.
Knowledge and experience in WAN/ LAN network topologies, equipment & configuration
A solid understanding of distributed/web based application architectures and techniques
Experience with system integration and interfaces including XML, CORBA or similar
Expertise in benchmarking and sizing complex solutions
Proficiency in network monitoring, packet capture and protocol analysis
Proficiency in operation and usage of network management & related systems
Hands on experience with network security, attacks, exploits and mitigation
Hands-on knowledge in Linux and Windows installation and configuration
Business Skills
Grasp and present the Narus vision, technical solutions and value propositions
Display strong communication (verbal & written), presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills; frequent strategic interactions with high level clients
Develop positive customer relationships while deriving customer business requirements and delivering winning solutions
Education and Work Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
10+ years (includes development, design and solution architecture)
