We are seeking a senior leader who is knowledgeable and passionate about ad technology and the display ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams and leading product management in a fast paced company. He or she must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills.
Lead (directly and/or by influence) product managers, engineers, QA, UX designers and work closely with other partner stakeholders (marketing, merchandising, legal, finance)- providing guidance and direction to achieve the product vision for customer centric and global product launches.
Represent the team and the business internally and externally.
Establish and drive the product strategy and vision for our buyer product portfolio.
Define and manage the product roadmap, setting of and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team.
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team?s ability to meet its strategic, financial, and technical goals.
Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market.
Work with other business partners to perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights and product requirements; drive the implementation of recommendations derived from analysis into product features.
Partner with product and engineering managers from other parts of the company to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionalities.
Write market, functional and system requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams.
Create and maintain sequencing of projects, prioritization and tradeoffs vis--- -vis short-term and longer-term strategic goals.
Dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the ad-tech competitive landscape.
Successful candidate will demonstrate:
Self-starter with ability to lead large scale projects and build new products from the grounds up independently
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Superior verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired as is bringing customer oriented products to market.
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality.
5+ years of Product Management experience (at least 2+ years in digital advertising technology) with increasing responsibilities.
In-depth knowledge of advertising technologies and competitive landscape.
A knowledge and/or understanding of Web applications, Mobile and/or innovative new product-platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in both leading a team directly and by influence to meet aggressive goals with high judgment applied on how products are built, particularly in a dynamic, rapidly changing
Nice to Have:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is highly preferred. MBA is a plus
