Citrix ByteMobile is looking for a highly talented and motivated Senior Director Product Marketing for the Service Provider Platforms product group to develop and deliver compelling go-to-market strategies, establish differentiated market positions, compelling positioning and messaging, and build demand and market awareness of the group's market-leading solutions. Reporting to the VP and GM of the group, the Senior Director Product Marketing will define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Citrix within the service provider marketplace and deliver results aimed at achievement of customer adoption and revenue growth objectives. The Senior Director Product Marketing has a wide range of intra- and inter-departmental, company and industry responsibilities including market analysis, strategy, solution definition, positioning, competitive analysis, communication, pricing, packaging and promotion of key products and solutions being undertaken by the business.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and solid execution skills, willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to create product line revenue growth and lasting value.
Identifies and articulates clear definitions of target markets and customer needs that specific products fulfill, based on direct and frequent engagement with customers.
Creates clear, competitive differentiation that distinguishes Citrix products in the market, communicates their value propositions, and offers the right price points and licensing schemes.
Is able to build and manage a high performance team of product marketing and technical marketing managers.
Create content for collateral, sales tools, sales training and other outbound deliverables and educate internal and external communities.
Lead product marketing initiatives relative to industry analysts, thought leaders and influencers.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of relevant product marketing experience with increasing responsibility. A significant amount of this experience should include work in both early-stage private company environments as well as in a publicly traded company, with a successful track record of building strong product franchises and creating product marketing strategies to maintain sustained competitive advantage.
Demonstrated ability to create world-class sales tools and educate a global sales force.
A combination of visionary, strategic and pragmatic skills, encompassing both strong strategic product marketing abilities and hands-on tactical involvement.
Track record of working with analysts, partners, and other influencer communities.
Skilled at researching, evaluating, developing and presenting product marketing selling content including positioning, messaging and solution selling concepts.
Communicates well both verbally and in writing. Creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills, explains abstract/complex concepts to upper and middle management and influences behavior.
Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape with the ability to spot new mobile data trends.
Demonstrated strategic thinker with the ability to balance both long term direction and drive immediate results.
High level of personal initiative, integrity and leadership. Detail oriented, data driven and highly analytical.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
