Senior Director, System Engineering Narus

As our Senior Director of Systems Engineering, you will be an intregal part of our Sales organization, leading our Systems Engineering team. Our clients span all business sectors and sizes.
When it comes to networking and packet analysis, you are the expert; this can be demonstrated by a track record of happy, reference-willing customers. They appreciate your technical acumen and your diligence; no details about customer requirements get by you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology. The candidate should be comfortable working for a dynamic, technical organization with a rapidly evolving product and customer base; must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally when responding to emails, RFPs, etc., and when submitting reports; and need to be organized and analytical, and be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
The Director is expected to manage remote direct reports. Additional duties include:
Direct the team?s efforts in the achievement of the sales and operational objectives of the group
Work with the product development teams to define and propose the right solutions for the customer base. Drive product innovation through submission of customer feature requests, creative solutions, and new intellectual property.
Partner with the Sales team to ensure that the Narus sales team can propose the best technical solution for the customer. Support for this includes on-site support sales support as required.
Work with the product teams to create and define the best possible demonstrations of Narus products and services for customers on site, remote via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows
Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams on multiple projects, setting priorities and managing to sales objectives.
Willing to travel to visit prospects and customers, and to engage in onsite customer work when required.
Experience in creating process for scalably and successfully responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs is also important.
Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
Strong presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
Ability to be organized and analytical, and must be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
You should be comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
10+ years relevant experience in selling and supporting Cyber and Enterprise security solutions to IT organizations
Experience leading SEs in a sales environment with Cyber and Enterprise security solutions
Experience with carrier sales, networking, server, application and development technologies
US Citizenship preferred.
Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
Domain expertise with IT operations, security or compliance is desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
