THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Lithium Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Total Rewards, reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, to be a strategic partner to the leadership team to ensure that all global compensation programs align with the strategic goals of the company and support the high performance culture by rewarding and attracting top talent. This position will direct the planning, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of all global compensation programs in order to maintain the organizations objectives, competitive position in the marketplace and affordability considerations. Compensation responsibilities include executive compensation, long-term incentive programs, base and total cash compensation programs, job evaluation, performance management and retention programs. In this roll up your sleeves position, collaborate with senior-most leadership team (CEO, SVP, HR, CFO and Executive Staff) to ensure that the overall Total Rewards Strategy and all compensation programs align with and support the corporate business strategies of Lithium
Review, evaluate, redesign and manage the executive compensation programs (base, bonus, and equity) by collaborating with CEO, Compensation Committee of the Board, outside Executive Compensation Consultants, and SVP, HR to ensure the programs are performance driven, market competitive, appropriately leveraged, legally compliant, accurately administered and effectively communicated
Prepare Compensation Committee materials including equity recommendations, compensation programs and executive level requirements
Oversee the base compensation program, including market competitive analysis, job evaluation, salary structures, job descriptions, policies and procedures, merit increases, manager/employee communications, etc., and ensure that they are well designed and support corporate business strategies
Oversee the development of incentive, bonus, and commission plans, ensuring that they are designed to drive employee performance inline with business objectives, are market competitive, are legally sound and managed/administered accurately and effectively.
In collaboration with Legal, oversee the management of the Equity plan and future stock plans to ensure accuracy, effective communications to plan participants, legal compliance, and cost effectiveness
Prepare compensation tables and CD&A for proxy statements
Assist with the expansion into new countries as well as M&A activities and other projects
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
10 to 15 years of compensation management experience with a minimum of 5+ years of global experience, including a proven track record of implementing cutting edge executive compensation and equity programs that align senior management with shareholder value and drive achievement of business objectives
Ideally has a mix of entrepreneurial high-growth with large company
Strong project management and system design work. Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives
Demonstrates an appreciation and intuition around organizational readiness, to ensure successful change management and adoption
Proven global experience communicating, educating, implementing and maintaining successful compensation programs and strategies required
Public Company experience in SOX, Audit compliance and external reporting documentation; IPO experience ideal
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of compensation, specifically executive compensation and all types of equity programs
Track record of working cross-functionally and collaboratively at the senior management level
Excellent judgment in dealing with sensitive materials, confidential information, and urgent executive compensation issues
Strong interpersonal communication skills including influence, conflict resolution, and presentations
Driven individual; experienced in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or similar applicable field is required; Master?s degree in HR, Finance or MBA desirable
