Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer Yoics
We are seeking an embedded developer to help port our embedded Linux network solution to new platforms, expand current platform capabilities, and build our solution into a standard SDK
for our partners.
Technical Skills and Requirements
Networking: UDP, TCP socket programming is a must. A deep understanding of how the internet
works is desired (NAT traversal and types, Routing, Proxies, DNS, IPV6).
Web Services: Experience developing, publishing, and consuming open APIs is a must. Having
worked with APIs like Dropbox, GDrive, OAuth and similar APIs is a big plus.
Applications: Web server (Apache, nginx, lighthttpd), CGI, PHP, HTTP AUTH,- JSON are a must.
Programming Languages: C (must), Shell scripting (must), PHP, Javascipt, HTML, Lua.
Tools: GNU tools, SCM (Perforce, ClearCase, SVN, GIT etc.). We prefer SVN/GIT. Basic electronic
skills are helpful, as we frequently work with sample and development hardware.
Culture: You must be willing to work in a small, fast-paced environment and be self-motivated
to take charge and get things done. Our partners are top-tier manufacturers who count on us to
deliver stellar results.
