Allegro seeks an experienced Senior Energy Software Consultant. Senior Energy Software Consultants will serve as subject matter experts on Allegro implementation projects. This is a direct customer-facing role with responsibility for deliverables within scope for enterprise software implementation and requires solid .Net development experience, preferably with C#.
Challenges of the position include:
Works as a consulting team member or an individual consultant on for-fee product implementation, integration, or software upgrade projects.
Leads clients through all functional phases of implementation according to Allegro?s Foundation Methodology.
Day-to-day management of project deliverables and supervision of project team.
Provides project appraisals for team members on assigned client engagements.
Serves as energy industry subject matter expert in field of expertise as it relates to business software functionality. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on the implementation of Allegro?s proprietary software products.
Contributes industry expertise to create educational materials for internal and customer end-user training on use of Allegro applications.
Qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 3 years? experience in software implementation consulting in the energy industry, particularly energy trading, physical movement of commodities, and energy risk management. 4-6 years? experience preferred.
An enthusiastic self-starter with proven problem solving skills, analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to clearly and effectively present and explain solutions and capabilities to the customer.
Dynamic and credible presence and presentation skills, with strong customer interface background
Ability to effectively and successfully train, lead and direct the work of others.
Heavy custom development with C#, ASP.Net
Extensive knowledge of MS Windows products, Crystal Reports, SQL and/or Oracle databases.
