Responsibilities:Design high performance broadband circuits for E/O modulators to meet the engineering specifications
Interface with engineering, marketing and packaging teams to assist in IC and final product requirements
Develop accurate EM structure models for IC design
Assists in developing accurate device models for IC design
Measure IC performance and debug design
Assist operations to ensure manufacturability of product designs.
Required Skills:
MS degree in Electrical Engineering in the area of IC design for high-speed analog / mixed-signal ICs with 0-1 years of experience developing products.
Strong fundamentals of circuits, transmission lines, EM, and microwave theory
Excellent knowledge of circuit design tools: Spectre, ADS
Strong working knowledge of circuit and EM simulation tools: Cadence/ADE, ADS, HFSS, IE3D, SI-Wave, Momentum
Experience with VNA and time domain measurements for IC characterization
Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills
