Senior Engineering Manager Adchemy

The Engineering Manager is responsible for development and delivery of high quality Adchemy Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that meet product requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. This individual will have prior experience managing user-facing services and the teams which developed and operated them, will be capable of technical deep-dives into code, operating systems and storage yet verbally and cognitively agile enough to hold their own in a strategy discussion with Adchemy's executive team. This individual must also work effectively with all other organizations to meet the company business goals and reach a high-level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
Build and lead a professional and operational software development organization
Deliver high-quality, scalable services in a timely and cost effective manner
Keep the Agile processes running smoothly and focus on creating self running SCRUM teams.
Work closely with Product Management to define project scope, priorities, and timeline
Recruit, develop, retain, lead and mentor engineering talent to build a cohesive and powerful team
Provide leadership and management in setting organizational priorities that align with business objectives
Act as knowledge leader in software development theory and practice
Qualification and Experience
5-8 years of relevant hands-on technical management experience of software developers, systems administrators/architects, as well as a record of individual technical achievement.
Capable of technical deep-dives into code and infrastructure
Proven track record of delivering high quality products on time
Prior experience with development of hosted and web based software applications
Experience in building and guiding the technological evolution of a product
Comfortable recruiting and managing a team of very bright, experienced engineers on projects
Excellent written & oral communication skills.
Strong process/project management skills, with ability to manage and implement technologies rapidly.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of and experience with Agile software development processes.
Start-up/rapid growth company experience
Experience growing teams of technical professionals.
