Senior Enterprise Account Manager Vertafore, Inc.
As a Vertafore Account Manager, you will be instrumental in the ongoing success of an industry leader. Vertafore is the #1 insurance software provider in the U.S.Our Account Managers work with existing clients focusing on insurance carriers and large agencies with the goal to retain existing business and grow through increment offerings.

We seek an experienced sales professional to protect and grow our valuable customer relationships. Our Account Manager serves as the liaison between our organization and the primary point of contacts within our customer base. Key goals of this role include directing all activities within an account, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, expanding account relationships, growing revenue in the account and managing the transitions from pre-sales to implementation to post-production support.
Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business software or service arena.
Excellent knowledge of the insurance or financial service arena is desired.
Understanding of Insurance business? workflow and business objectives, and ability to translate product application into the solution to the Customer?s business problems.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required.
Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence.
Executive level communication skills ? WEBEX, Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint.
Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with top strategic accounts.
Develop and execute account expansion strategies.
Leverage existing executive client relationships to close additional sales ? professional services or additional product offerings.
Responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through on-going personal attention and by working closely with support functions to ensure smooth hand-offs for conversions, implementations, training, and client support.
Conduct strategic account reviews/planning with customers.
Build and maintain solid pipeline.
Uses Vertafore standard sales methodology in all prospect/customer contact.
Act as client advocate and escalate issues as necessary.
Maintain the highest level of industry and product expertise.
Keep abreast of competitive activity and Vertafore advantages vs. competition.
The East Lansing product development team is responsible for Producer Lifecycle Management (PLM), a SaaS product suite built on the Java stack that improves the efficiency and accuracy of insurance and securities license processing for carriers, agencies, brokers and securities firms/education providers.
