SENIOR ENTERPRISE SALES REPRESENTATIVE NextBio
We are seeking an experienced enterprise account manager to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will find and develop business within multi-site, international accounts as well as medium size pharma and biotech accounts. The customer base includes research scientists, bio-informaticians, and information technology persons across all levels of a customer's organization. This is a very exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone with experience managing complex, high-dollar scientific software deals. The ideal candidate will reside in the Northeastern US. Expected travel will average 50.
The enterprise account manager will be responsible for building a customer base of NextBio users within a handful of global pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts as well as a number of medium-sized accounts. Other members of the NextBio team (including marketing, software development, and field application scientists) will work closely with you to ensure that you have the resources you and our customers need to be successful. You will develop and execute sales and account plans to ensure you meet the required sales goals. The account manager will work with multiple groups within an account to uncover potential sales opportunities, and move these from an evaluation phase through to enterprise-wide licensing deals.
Accomplished sales representative with 5 years selling scientific software or solutions to major pharmaceutical and biotech accounts
Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and growing business
B.S. or higher degree in biological sciences
Expertise managing and closing complex, high-dollar, business deals
Ability to uncover and develop sales opportunities throughout a territory
Capable of working effectively with biologists, chemists, informaticians, and information technology personnel at all levels within an account
Desire to become a major contributor to the growth and success of a dynamic software company.
