Senior Escalation Engineer, System Network Ruckus Wireless

Ruckus is building up a high-caliber engineering escalation team to better support growing ZoneFlex deployments by both enterprise and carrier customers. We are looking for multiple seasoned and passionate QA engineers to join this team. The successful candidates will have high exposure to state-of-art wireless technologies, in-depth knowledge of network controllers, as well as real-world customer deployments.Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases to replicate customer deployment issues
Develop test environment and test harness to simulate large scale control and data traffic
Work closely with Customer Service group to understand customer issues
Work closely with software and hardware developers to debug problems and validate the fixes
Work closely with QA system test teams to mimic customer deployment scenarios
Provide timely results and feedback in critical customer cases
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in computer science or similar fields, advanced degree will be a plus
At least five years of hands-on QA test experiences in computer networking companies
Expert knowledge in network technologies in L2/L3 switch and routing, VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, RADIUS etc. Familiar with network protocol layers and how they interact
Strong debugging skills in complex embed systems and management software
Expert knowledge in test equipment such as Veriwave, Ixia, Smartbits, network analyzers such as Sniffer, EtherPeek, EtherReal, and OmniPeek
Solid knowledge in 802.11 protocols, access points and their RF performance
Familiar with enterprise and carrier customer deployment scenarios
Ability to work independently and with others in time critical and customer driven environment
