Responsible for directing and orchestrating the global presence for all tradeshows, events and all related logistical activities pertaining to ZELTIQ international and domestic presences. This includes the Global Sales Meeting, President?s Club, workshops, country meetings, user?s meetings and all other sales related events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned.):
? Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of all events and trade shows globally that will enhance the Company?s image and position within the industry and general public, and facilitate internal and external communication.
? Responsible for facilitating trade show guidance for the upcoming year. Develop the overarching plan and direction for the ever growing global trade show and event agenda. Evaluating new trade show opportunities and new markets for revenue.
? Recommend short and long term Zeltiq goals and objectives to the Sr. Director of Strategic Partners and Training as it pertains to trade shows and events.
? Strong leadership, problem solving and organizational skills needed- a ?can do? attitude to overcome challenges and provide solutions.
? Manages all aspects of attendance for tradeshows and meetings, including but not limited to show selection, pre-show meetings and preparation, organizing booth staffing, supervising booth set up/tear down and working in the booth at select tradeshows.
? Oversees the activities of the Tradeshow and Events Manager, who assists in tradeshow selection, logistics and execution.
? Books tradeshow space for all tradeshows in advance to ensure priority placement of ZELTIQ by monitoring identified tradeshow organizations and ensuring timely decision-making. Also negotiates with associations to secure best possible pricing and gain as much exposure for the company as possible for the company?s investment.
? Ensures that all tradeshow and other marketing generated leads are entered into SFDC and distributed to the appropriate reps within 2 days of the meeting ending.
? Ensures ZELTIQ brand imagery and tradeshow materials are presented and maintained to an acceptable standard.
? Anticipates needs before they arise at all events and trade shows. Through careful planning and organization, makes every effort to have all events run smoothly, exceeding expectations of attendees and teammates.
? Manages all physician events affiliated with medical meetings such as Medical Advisory Board meetings, prospect events and workshops.
? Coordinates meeting space/suites for any public relations or physician/prospect events held at major tradeshows
? Plans and executes with the team all physician-focused marketing events such as regional workshops, physician dinners, user?s meeting, country meetings, etc.
? Participates in marketing activities and projects for branding, planning and budget allocation.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
? Valid driver?s license issued by the state in which the individual resides; good driving record.
? Ability to travel, up to 40%, both domestically and internationally. Overnight travel is required.
? Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA?s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which ZELTIQ complies.
? Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required.
? 8+ years? experience in tradeshow and event planning.
? 4+ years of medical device tradeshow experience and/or aesthetic device necessary.
? 4+ years previous management experience (includes direct reports and/or vendors, contractors)
? Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word with a working knowledge of a CRM database favorable.
? Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and anticipatory follow up skills are needed along with a strong attention to detail. Interest in establishing processes or procedures a plus.
? Self-starter with the ability to work with, manage and prioritize multiple deadlines, while maintaining accuracy. Highly motivated and dedicated individual.
? Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and physicians.
