The Rearden Financials, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an exciting and fast evolving team within Rearden. The FP&A's mission is to enable profitable business growth and instill confidence in an efficient manner through financial leadership & business partnering.
The position will be responsible for supporting the Application Teams, Customer Support, and driving the internal procurement process. The roles and responsibilities include planning, forecasting, reporting & analysis, marginal cost analysis, metrics, policy and processes. Also the role is responsible for building strong relationships and becoming a trusted leader with the business unit leadership and finance leaders. He/she will be an active member of Rearden's finance leadership team, providing input on strategic direction of the business model.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven track record in cost Leadership, business partnering with exception collaboration, leading a high-performance team, a high degree of executive maturity, and the ability to influence others, successful execution of change management initiatives and a keen understanding of how to drive results. The selected candidate will apply strong business and financial analytics to ensure the success of company strategies.
Reporting, Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead and deliver meaningful insight that continuously improves measurement of revenue, cost performance and enable business leaders to make well-informed decisions, as well as enhance planning and cost analysis to determine present and future opportunities
- Manage monthly/quarterly reviews to Rearden's senior leadership, providing comparative actual results to budget/forecast, noting variances and analysis of drivers and recommendations for potential corrections. Identifying areas to drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
- Lead optimization of the marginal cost model (rates, units, metrics, etc.) including improving cost identification, cost segmentation and cost controls. Direct and participate in cost analysis and benchmark studies.
Policy, Control, Process & Systems
- Manage procurement and expense financial policies, controls, processes and governance and own communication for awareness and compliance within Rearden and to business unit finance partners
- Partner with Lines of Business (LoB)/App Leaders, Functional Management and other systems organizations to develop key performance and operational metrics reports to enhance accuracy of unit reporting, financial reporting, and drive cost optimization across business groups
Business Partnering
- Lead strong relationships with key stakeholders through robust business partnering skills and written/oral communication. Become a trusted leader to the LoB/App leadership and finance leaders.
- Interface with Legal, HR, all business group finance and business senior management, and Corporate Controllership ensure standardization of processes and best practices are being leveraged across the Rearden
- Lead and management communications relative to the financial management and strategy of the assigned LoB/App team which aids management decision-making and business group/finance management with planning decisions.
Management/Leadership
- Be an active part of the Rearden Finance leadership team. Provide input on priorities, career development and the current and future role of finance team.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other related areas; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated business partner support experience, cross functional support. Cross group collaboration and interaction with senior management.
- An understanding of SaaS and software industry and hosted models is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with Excel required and skilled in other MS desktop apps
- Strong written and verbal communications skills. Open, confident communicator effective in senior levels of engagement
