To support ongoing corporate growth we are recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an important role that provides business support and financial analysis to the management team and various departments at Empirix. The Empirix corporate culture emphasizes high achievement, trust and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve project goals in a fast paced hi-tech corporate environment.
Reporting to the Operations Controller at Corporate HQ in Bedford, MA, your responsibilities will include:
Create new financial planning models
Participate in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Prepare monthly variance analysis
Research and resolve spending variances for assigned functional areas
Lead the analysis of business processes issues and drive process improvement by partnering with the Business Systems group to drive automated solutions
Maintain Backlog Database
Ad-hoc projects and financial analysis
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
Strong Excel and Access skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Oracle or other comparable ERP systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Motivation to learn and develop business skills
Required Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in a Finance function
Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
