FUNCTION:
The Senior Financial Analyst provides analysis and presentation of financial data used to develop unit and/or brand performance intelligence. Will gather and analyze market research information to provide relevant information for identifying new business opportunities, positioning new offerings and life cycle management for current products. Also mines databases and develops reports on selected competitive issues and other topics as directed by the Manager and Senior Leadership team. Administers customer and order data bases and creates queries. Monitors variances, researches causes and, and reports with appropriate insight. Ensures accurate and timely analysis of company spend, cost savings project management, and royalties project management by researching and analyzing accounts, creating processes, and providing information Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

Gathers relevant information to measure effectiveness of marketing promotions 50%
and products and predicts future market conditions and potential
Administers database information and develops effective queries to mine data
Administers order databases and information and analyzes customer behavior
Identifies the best source of data along with the appropriate collection tool 10%
Analyzes high availability market research to help identify business issues and opportunities 10%
Provides written reports to Product Managers for use in new product development and planning 20%
Develops specialized reports as assigned by Controller
Works with ISS to develop database queries for regular reporting of key measures
Works closely with members of the marketing team and Information Systems and Services
Frequent contact with outside vendors
Offers advanced solutions based on collected, summarized and analyzed data
Will offer solutions to continually improve business processes and practices
Develops competitive reports on current market conditions
With input from product manager and market development director, develops appropriate queries to conduct database research and generate competitive information and market reports

WORKING CONDITIONS

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. core schedule with frequent flexibility for start and ending times. Additional hours and/or overtime depending on position and needs of the business may be required. Travel if required according to business need.
