Job Description
This position will be deeply involved in the Company?s Sales Finance activities which include deal pricing and analysis as well as revenue forecasting support. The candidate will work closely with other members of the Sales Finance team, as well as cross-functionally with the Deal Desk, Sales, Product Management, and Supply Chain organizations. In this role, you will take part in building and analyzing financial models to ensure that our pricing for customer pricing is accurate and aligns with strategic objectives. You will also take part in bid and pricing strategy sessions, financial deal reviews, and product pricing reviews. The successful candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent Excel modeling skills, and must be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Deal pricing and proposal analysis ? use sound financial judgment and strong attention to detail in creating financial models to price customer deals
Assess, communicate, and document key financial risks and/or identify opportunities for deal improvement
Provide customer-facing quotes and update customer pricing templates for RFP responses
Administer price lists, standard cost files, deal metrics database, and historical repository of customer quotes for tracking and reporting purposes
Provide timely, insightful, and relevant analysis of deal financials to enable the revenue forecasting and accounting processes
Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Company?s product lines, the competitive environment, and the market it addresses to better support functional initiatives and provide recommendations to business partners
Assist with the strategic thinking around new product offerings and pricing models
Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements and supporting tools (e.g., pricing models, contract templates)
Perform ad hoc analysis as required
Required Experience
BS Degree in Accounting, .Finance, or other business-related discipline
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as proficiency with PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with TM1 a plus
3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, or pricing functions. Prefer experience with a public company
Experience creating and working with complex financial models
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
