Senior Financial Analyst Empower RF Systems

Job SummaryReporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing the quarterly, annual and long-range or five-year plans, prepares monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results to forecasts and plans. The Senior Financial Analyst also assists with the monthly accounting close and analysis. The successful candidate will be strong individual contributor, an absolute Excel guru, and have an immeasurable passion for metrics within an engineering-to-order or manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
Prepares financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
Prepares consolidated forecasts and budgets and analyzes trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.
Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of financial data.
Assists with special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
Maintains and coordinates group completion of financial review templates and meetings.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
CPA preferred.
Five+ years business related experience including financial planning and forecast modeling.
Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are no precedents.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfortable working within an ERP software system.
