What you?ll doAs a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide leadership to the Product Development groups (Product Management (PM) / Engineering / Marketing) for all Financial Analysis activities, including evaluating financial viability of new products and capital investment plans. The Global Finance team is a key advisor for Product Development; we ensure delivery of short term financial targets and long term strategies. The FA/ SFA will support Executives by managing financials and ensuring alignment across multiple regions and departments and driving insight to improve profitability of products. In addition to supporting the Product Development teams, this role will be a key financial partner to Global Operations/Logistics teams.
How you?ll do it
Assists in providing Financial support to PM departments cross regionally to assist the business leaders in decision-making.
Analyzes actual performance and trends of major product groups against plan and prior year, provide insight in to key variances and trends and identify risks and opportunities to senior management and PM.
Supports the annual budgeting and forecasting efforts for the PM team, as well as the Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams as needed.
Analyzes performance of strategic key performance indicators for each product group and partner with PM, to recommend/implement solutions to improve the ROI.
What you?ll need
Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, CPA and/or MBA in Finance preferred.
5+ years of experience in a comparable role with retail consumer electronics/manufacturing experience as a plus.
Superior problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive complex financial modeling and analysis to quantify the impact of business investments and decisions.
Work well with people, has a strong bias toward action and an ability to proactively identify and resolve issues and maintain a positive work attitude.
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
