Senior Financial Analyst/Manager , Clinical EnVivo Pharmaceuticals
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This position will support the financial planning and analysis of EnVivo Development, primarily Clinical. Provide budgeting and forecasting of clinical studies, as well as analysis of CRO, vendor and site agreement budgets. This is a highly analytical role, best suited for an individual with experience in the full range of clinical studies, from Phase 1-4.
Reports to the Associate Director of R&D Finance but will interact with other Finance and IT staff, and with Clinical Operations and Program Teams on financial matters.
Primary Position Responsibilities/Tasks:
Develop, enhance and maintain financial models, including short and long-range clinical forecasting, enrollment, and other tools and metrics to support Development.
Provide directions in decision making that helps effectively allocate resources in support of company goals.
Work on process improvements in outsourcing/clinical finance, and with IT to support implementation of new software applications such as Cleartrial and Grants Manager.
Builds financial scenarios to support program decisions.
Creates, as needed, ad hoc financial and operational reports.
Minimum BS in Accounting or Finance. Must have in-depth understanding of drug discovery and development and strong budgeting/forecasting skills.
Interpersonal skills are critical; must be able to push for their required outcome/result across functional organizations (Clinical, Program Management, CMC, Finance, Regulatory).
Excellent EXCEL skills required.
Interest in, and ability to learn new software programs essential.
Good communication/presentation skills also important.
Experience interacting with Clinical Operations and CROs a must.
MBA or CPA.
Keen interest in analysis.
Ideal candidate has 8-10 years experience supporting Clinical Operations. Phase 3 experience highly desired.
