SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST RMG Networks
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide finiancial analysis to support recommendations for key corporat intiiatives; developing projections and models. This position reports to the Executive Vice President, Stratagy & Business Operations in our Dallas office.
Work directly with EVP Strategy and Business Operations, CFO and other senior executives
Business unit and corporate budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking and variance analyses
Project profitability analyses
Financial analysis for acquisitions
Develop and maintain forecasting tools
Providing cause of change analysis for BUs and Senior Leadership
Prepares monthly business summary for inclusion in financial reports for the leadership team.
Analyzes monthly sales and margin data, recommends and/or implements techniques to improve profitability, increase product mix and take advantage of opportunities.
Support senior management team on strategic planning and initiatives.
Assist in annual and quarterly budgeting process. This includes building and maintaining financial models to forecast revenue and expenses.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA a plus
3 - 5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting or corporate finance positions
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work across the organization
Ability to handle a diverse workload with tight time frame requirements and competing resources; comfortable in an environment with changing priorities and competing demands for time
Strong experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Self-motivated with ability to drive results
Proven process improvement skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information to all levels of management.
Advanced financial modeling experience
