What You?ll Do
As a member of our Finance team, you?ll play a key role in ensuring our budgeting and forecasting processes run smoothly from end to end: Assume ownership of ExtraHop?s forecasting, overall-budgeting, and capital budgeting processes. Coordinate the collection of inputs and then partner with P&L owners in building plans based on these inputs or evaluating plans submitted by other teams for reasonableness.
Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
Track the financial status of various functional departments by performing variance analyses and delivering results to various teams on a monthly basis. Proactively communicate progress and issues to management.
Create and standardize financial and operational reports, process metrics, KPIs, and peer-comparison dashboards that highlight the company?s performance versus the performance of other comparable companies.
Partner with various areas of the business to develop reporting tools and dashboards that enable sound business decisions based on relevant metrics.
Develop and maintain forecasting tools. Work with the Accounting group to ensure that our finance system accurately represents general ledger data and supports all internal and external reporting requirements.
We?re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who can help us grow to the next level as a company. Although the best candidates are more than the sum of their parts, as a starting point for this position you?ll need the following background:
4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial planning
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or
related field strongly preferred
MBA or CPA preferred but not required
Familiarity with all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP including software revenue recognition
Extensive knowledge of Excel and the ability to create and analyze complex financial models, including forward-forecasting models
Passion for producing deliverables that are accurate, professional in appearance, and timely
Excellent attention to detail
Appreciation for the complex interaction of various financial systems and the desire
to learn systems to maximize efficiencies and improve the quality of reporting
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company, from entry-level employees to executive management
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment backed with the results-driven and self-motivated enthusiasm to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations
