Senior Financial Analyst PayScale
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Overview:
As a key member of the Finance Team, you will play a hands-on, critical role in building and maintaining financial models, monthly financial statement and financial metric reporting, financial presentation preparation, and budgeting. You will interact closely with the Executive Team and will work closely with Sales Operations for sales order management, invoicing, commission calculations and SalesForce.com reporting.
--Build financial models and provide analytical support for business initiatives.
--Assist with company annual financial plan and mid-year updates.
--Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
--Provide technical advice to department managers on budgetary and financial planning activities.
--Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
--Sales order management including deal approval and invoicing.
--Calculate monthly, quarterly and year end commissions and bonuses based on specific compensation plans for each commission and bonus type.
--Calculate monthly, quarterly and annual MRR.
--Identify, analyze, and communicate trends and issues affecting the business.
--Perform on-going reporting and analytical projects on an ad-hoc basis as requested by senior management.
Success in this role is dependent upon a team player approach, ability to work across multiple departments with creativity and original thinking to proactively identify new approaches to analyze data. This is a role that requires resourcefulness, strategic thinking and exceptional leadership skills to add value to the short and long term business planning aspects of the company. You must have a "roll your sleeves up" approach, be highly analytical and a forward thinker!
--B.A. in Accounting, Finance or something related - MBA a plus
--At least 7 years of progressive finance/accounting analytic experience.
--Strong GAAP and revenue recognition experience a plus.
--Strong analytical, business partnering and interpersonal skills.
--Experience building financial models.
--Ability to manage projects to completion with minimal supervision.
--Able to meet tight schedules and sometimes work under high pressure deadlines.
--Results oriented with a strong attention to detail.
--Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving abilities.
--Expert level Excel skills required.
--Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce.com a plus.
--Business analysis experience within the tech industry (SAAS) is desired
