The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking in you the ability to architect a firmware system using conventional engineering tools and develop a plan for implementation of this system. As an engineer you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of your work product, with a detailed attention to its quality, stability and readability.
The primary products which you may be involved with are the highly resource limited hardware platforms for the control and monitoring of solar collector system motors to control the reflector module directions. In achieving this tracking and control task, you will find yourself creating supporting devices and auxiliary products which together as a system will perform the end goal. These auxiliary products may involve video processing, communication protocol design, sequencing of action across a system and even fault detection and time to repair reduction.

Generation of Detailed Rest Reports
Contnuous attention to Cost Reduction
Minimum 5 years experience in C, C++ software development
Minimum 5 years experience in embedded system software development and/or low-level firmware development.
Highly experienced in firmware architecture and design using CASE tools.
Strong physics background.
Good knowledge of object orientated programming.
Good knowledge of embedded system design principles.
Good problem solving and analytical skills. Fast learner.
Minimum degree: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Strong command of English language. Must be capable of generating comprehensive reports and documentation.
Nice to Have
Programming RTOS based systems
Familiarity with WindRiver VxWorks Development
Familiarity with Keil MDK-ARM
Familiarity with OSI model for network communication.
Image processing and Computer Vision
Scientific programming experience
Familiarity with version control tools
