The Senior Front End Web Developer works to design the web interfaces for an established and rapidly growing Software As A Service company. As part of the Platform Technology team, you will have responsibility for designing and developing the core user experience used across our product portfolio. You will be empowered to create a richly interactive UI to present big-data in meaningful ways to our clients and allow them to easily navigate the complex data structures. It?s not enough to deliver charts and graphs, we want to make sure our UI is performant, powerful, and flexible for all of our customers diverse requirements.Required Skills:
?Well-rounded skills in modern front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
?Ability to create new visually compelling elements from first principles, extending existing frameworks
?Experience with a variety web language and frameworks, with a good sense of there strengths and weaknesses
?Experience developing responsive interfaces to rich backend services representing large data sets
?Extensive experience with a wide variety of graphing/charting toolkits
?Strong visual design/UX skills, with demonstrable portfolio of work
?Discipline to write reliable code and deliver extensive unit tests
?Expert level skills delivering responsive interfaces in modern multi-browser environment
?Expert in multiple JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery
?Strong Photoshop, or like, image manipulation
Desired Skills:
?Experience in PHP Symphony2 framework
?Experience with Websockets, Server-Side Events, COMET techniques
?Agile/Scrum development team experience
?Apache and/or Nginx configuration and tuning
?Functional languages, such as, Erlang
