Senior Front-end Developer Dachis Group

Dachis Group is seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join the Portland team. We are a highly collaborative team looking for someone who is hard-working, talented, and passionate about the web to assist us in creating sophisticated custom social engagements in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position.

Key Qualifications:
Expert level HTML/CSS. Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3
Desire to create clean, minimal markup
High-level Javascript Skills (with and without JQuery)
Very comfortable using AJAX
Good knowledge of the DOM and how to manipulate it
Expert level cross-browser debugging skills, from IE7 to modern browsers
Familiarity with Photoshop and comp slicing
5+ years experience
Seasoned with solving high profile bugs

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Responsive Design Techniques
Experience using CSS pre-processors such as LESS
Familiarity with Version Control (Git)
Comfortable with server-side templating (erb)
Some server-side knowledge, bonus for Ruby
Experience with the Graph API and developing inside of Facebook

Key Responsibilities:
Write excellent client-side code
Provide full-time on-site service
Client-facing communication
Assume shared responsibility of maintaining and advancing Dachis Group's development standards and platform.

Organizational Relationships:
Reports to Development Manager.
Partners with Ruby developer, Project Manager, and creative team.
Collaborates frequently with larger development team.
Assumes high level of responsibility maintaining and advancing Dachis Group's Front-
End Development standards and platform.
Client-facing communication.
