Position SummaryAs a Senior Front-End Developer you will be responsible for creating rich, high-performance user experiences that will be enjoyed by millions of users. You will help us rapidly iterate our UI to add new features and improve the usability of the entire application by making it lighter, faster, more interactive and more fun.
Primary Responsibilities
Implement new features and designs using relevant web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/Frameworks)
Participate in the creation of new feature concepts
Requirements
Team player with a collaborative work style
3+ years Web UI development experience
Proven front-end web development skills
Experience optimizing web pages for reducing bandwidth and improving responsiveness
Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, cross-browser development
Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery, Prototype, etc.
Familiarity with Java Server programming, specifically JSP/JSTL syntax
Experience using Photoshop or equivalent application for image slicing and optimization
Strong communication, organization and time management/prioritization skills required
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Facebook application programming a plus
Familiarity with UX principles, and ability to identify and correct usability issues a plus
Nice to have: Flash/iOS UI development experience
