Punchbowl.com is seeking to add a very experienced Front-end Web Developer to our development team. The ideal candidate has extensive front-end web experience and believes that user interface details really matter. He or she considers themselves an expert in HTML standards, and loves JavaScript. We're looking for someone with strong conviction and opinions who knows what it takes to make a beautiful, easy-to-use site for consumers.Why join us?
Punchbowl is a small company (about 15 people) and is successful and growing. You will be working in an energetic and very fun startup environment. You will learn from (and hopefully teach) other experienced developers. You will also see how product development fits together with the other pieces of our organization to create a successful business.
We're looking for a person that wants to lead the charge for the front-end of web applications that are used by millions of consumers. Here's the ideal person:
You consider yourself an expert in HTML, Javascript, and CSS3
You have deep knowledge of Internet Browsers (if you don't hate IE6, don't apply)
You care about creating structured and maintainable code
You have some experience with ActionScript/Flash
You are eager to learn iOS tools and technology
