The Senior Web Developer will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to turn static designs into a rich user experience. The Senior Web Developer will also be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure while developing new technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in development projects for the website, both large and small, throughout the various phases of the project life cycle.
Analyze existing web applications to contribute to current projects.
Build proof-of-concept mock ups and rapid prototypes.
Build customized user interfaces based on keen understanding of inheritance, hierarchy and templatizing.
Development with cross-browser compatibility on multiple operation systems including mobile devices.
Work with the team, along with Software Engineers, Designers, and Quality Analysts, to carry out unit testing of new development.
Keep in tune with our market-share and position in search engines and portals.
Author or update documentation for new or existing applications.
Construct release notes document for the business.
Assess new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the necessary time-to-completion.
Expanding one?s knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.
Education and Training
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when requested.
May be required to be accessible by pager or cell phone.
Able to adapt quickly to an ever changing environment.
Passionate about contributing to a quality system.
