Job Description:Duties: Develops graphics primarily for
published, printed or electronic media.
Able to solve visual communication
problems or challenges by defining
approaches to a communications problem
that are developed in the context of an
audience and a media channel. Proficient
with visual development and design tools
for use in Internet/lntranet/Extranet
sites and applications. Designs, builds,
deploys, and maintains graphics and user
interfaces/web pages using a variety of
graphics software applications,
techniques, and tools; May provide human
factors engineering and usability
testing and support. Participates or
leads in the design group's efforts to
specify, improve, and implement the
look, feel, and function graphic
designs; Interfaces directly with
customers, users, graphic artists, and
system software developers; Maintains
current knowledge of relevant
technologies as assigned; Participates
in special projects as required.
Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent years
of experience.
? At least 10 years of experience
working in Web or Graphic design and/or
Communications. Experience in Government
Acquisitions is highly desirable.
? Familiarization with any DHS agency
mission, staff, and business operations
is highly desirable. Experience within
the USCG CG-9 Directorate a plus.
? Previous experience managing high
performing teams providing professional
support services to a major acquisition
program, managing personnel and
Integrated Product Teams (IPT's).
? Prior presentation development and
briefing skills.
? Must have excellent customer service
skills. Knowledge of USCG and/or DHS
programs desired.
