SENIOR GRAPHICS SOFTWARE ENGINEER Trion Worlds

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to focus on the creation, maintenance, and modification of low-level systems on the Xbox 360 and the PS3. The ideal candidate works cooperatively with programmers, designers, and artists to implement and polish solutions from beginning to end, and has a solid background in C/C++, a strong knowledge of general and 3D mathematics and current-generation video game technologies, and writes clear, maintainable code.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and support features in C/C++ that are CPU, GPU, and memory efficient, with an eye to a quality end-user experience
Identify possible pitfalls and provide practical and innovative alternatives/solutions
Collaborate well with engineers, designers, artists, and animators
Evangelize new technology; drive implementation of new techniques
Maintain a tight loop with tools programmers to deliver complete authoring pipelines
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of relevant experience
Fluent in C/C++
Strong 3D math skills
Multithreading experience
Strong low-level Xbox 360 and/or PS3 experience
Shipped at least 1 high-quality game as a low-level or graphics programmer
Extensive knowledge of vertex and pixel shaders
Extensive knowledge of rendering and lighting techniques
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to accurately and realistically schedule tasks
Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion with a high degree of quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for games
Bachelor's (BS) degree from an accredited 4-year college or university, or equivalent industry experience

Experience with deferred rendering
Previous MMO, Action, or FPS experience
AAA shipped titles
