Job Description:
Design hardware (schematics and layout) and develop system tests for Jawbone?s wearable mobile lifestyle products.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and develop flexible, wearable hardware systems optimized for size, power consumption and functionality
Responsible for generating hardware requirements definition, hardware test plan, component selection, schematics, PCB floor planning, board bring-up, debug and test
Drive vendors to develop and deliver components meeting system requirements
Work with internal and external teams to run hardware level validation tests
Provide manufacturing test support as necessary
Some travel (international and domestic) may be required
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in building miniature, power-efficient systems with digital, analog and RF capability
Experience in tools such as Concept-HDL, OrCad, Allegro or similar tools
Experience in hardware level tests and qualification of products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent team player
