Job Requirements:
Hands on experience with designing complex networking or server products
Ability to interface with other disciplines, including Software engineering, Product management and Customer Support
Demonstrated experience with shipping products from concept to manufacturing to sustaining
Validation of electro-mechanical design of FireEye appliances by completing Design Verification Tests
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Job will require occasional travel to Contract Manufacturing sites
Technical Background:
Familiar with multi-core processor architectures like Cavium, or x86, or ARM processors.
Familiar with design tools including ORCAD, Allegro, and Hyperlynx
Familiar with high speed design signal integrity issues, power distribution techniques
Experience with lab bring up and design validation on products
Familiar with USB, SAS, SATA, PCIe interfaces/protocols
DDR3 memory system and power circuit design
CPLD or FPGA design experience a plus
Familiar with chassis design and thermal issues
Education/Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience with BSEE, or MSEE or equivalent
