Job Summary
The Senior Hardware Engineer is responsible for electrical product design, development and support. This includes all hardware certification activities, new product introduction into manufacturing, and product support for all hardware related issues in the factory and field.
Job Duties
Responsible for electrical product design and hardware certification
Responsible for design documentation and configuration management
Will be involved in providing technical support for new and existing products to the factory and field
Qualifications
Required:
Engineering experience in electrical Hardware development environment
First hand experience with high speed digital and some analog design, including experience with designing high performance processor boards (Power PC, etc.), power supplies, etc.
Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams
Preferred:
Direct avionics design experience.
Direct experience with FAA certification processes related to avionics product and operational approvals.
Education
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
